Garfield is an Organisational Consultant and Executive Coach. He has four degrees in Psychology and his experience spans the public (NHS and Higher Education), private (Investment banking and the telecommunications industry) and charity (Cancer Research UK and MIND) sectors.
Garfield specialises in team away-days, teaching and training on consultation and leadership and executive coaching. He is particularly interested in how senior leaders manage their power and authority and helping teams and individuals to develop resilient resources within the contexts of complexity and adversity.
Garfield's recent work includes the setting up and facilitation of Action Learning Sets groups on Leadership for an NHS Foundation Trust, the coaching of a CEO within a mental health charity and the on-going facilitation of a large 'Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies' service.
