Trained originally as a psychoanalytic child and adolescent psychotherapist, Lydia has over 15 years of experience as a clinician-trainer at the Tavistock, working with people at all levels of organisational life to support reflective capacity, skills and understanding.

She is the clinical lead for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust workplace wellbeing project aimed at supporting SMEs, and was a Cohort Director on the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson NHS Leadership Academy MSc programme for senior leaders. She has a passion for translating psychotherapeutic frameworks into ordinary language and practice that has meaning across all organisational roles and settings.

She is a member of the Tavistock and Portman’s Group Relations Committee and has been involved in Group Relations work, a transformational model for learning about organisational processes, as a staff member and Director since 2010.
