Lydia is an experienced clinician-trainer and organisational consultant, working with people at all levels of organisational life to support reflective capacity, skills and understanding. Training first as an orchestral double bass player, she is aware of the potential for groups to do amazing things together when attentive leading and following are possible.

A psychoanalytic child and adolescent psychotherapist, she led the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust workplace wellbeing service for businesses keen to improve mental health culture, and was a Cohort Director on the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson NHS Leadership Academy programme for senior leaders.

She has a passion for translating psychotherapeutic frameworks into ordinary language and practice so that it can really help organisations of different kinds. She has been involved in Group Relations work, a transformational model for learning about organisational processes, as a staff member and director since 2010.
