Kathy is an experiential learning tutor on the Tavistock Masters course (‘Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamics and systemic approaches’) and has over 15 years experience working as a manager, group facilitator, researcher, tutor and supervisor in the field of learning and educational development in higher education.
Her particular interest is in the psycho-social dynamics of the learning relationship and she specialises in working with groups and individuals to develop their professional practice, using approaches that foreground learning from experience and enable reflection on barriers to development within the contemporary context of complexity, change and uncertainty.
Kathy has trained in group analysis, group relations and organisational consultancy and holds a doctorate in the interdisciplinary field of Victorian Studies. She is actively involved in social dreaming and exploring its potential in organisational and academic research.
