Ruth is an organisational consultant and executive coach. She has a clinical background and has 20 years of senior leadership experience in the NHS and the Private Healthcare sectors where she has led successful service transformation projects.
Ruth applies psychologically informed approaches to help individuals and groups through coaching, consultancy and facilitation to reach that deep understanding of factors impacting on their roles and performance in groups and in organisation, working with them towards employing strategies to achieve sustainable change.
Ruth is interested in how differences impact on the taking up of authority in organisational roles and is passionate about supporting individuals and teams navigate their roles in this space.
Her doctorate research explores the lived experiences of Black women in senior leadership roles applying a systems and psychodynamic approach to gain an understanding of how they take up authority and strategies to support them in role.
Ruth is a visiting lecturer on the MA Tavistock Consulting and Leading in Organisations Psychodynamic and Systemic Approaches (D10) a coaching supervisor on the Tavistock Executive Coaching Program. She holds EMCC accreditation at senior practitioner level and is an accredited Analytic-Network Coach
