Bev Thomas

Associate, Faculty

Bev has worked as a coach and organisational consultant for over twenty-five years across a range of different sectors and she is driven by a fascination with the complexities of our lives at work. Her earlier career as a clinical psychologist, gave her the skill set and expertise in the assessment and diagnostic process. She believes that the search for solutions, without first acquiring a full picture or ‘narrative’ of the structural and emotional issues involved, leaves the true nature of the problem hidden and risks making sustainable change impossible.

As an ACAS-accredited expert in mediation, Bev has a particular interest in the cause and effect of conflict in the workplace and its impact on the wider organisation. She has also worked extensively with individuals and teams affected by trauma at work.

A former Principal Consultant at Tavistock Consulting, Bev has directed and co-directed the Tavistock EMCC accredited Executive Coaching Programme on many occasions and continues to work as a faculty member. Bev is also a published writer of two novels.
